About me

For 18 years I am helping clients as a Psychotherapist, Counsellor and Heart IQ Coach to understand how past experiences shape current perceptions and influence decision making.

My therapeutic experience include working with adults, young adults, and couples in private practice as well as working for a Charity supporting those experiencing domestic violence.

My therapeutic work helps to rewire unhealthy connections of thoughts and beliefs, feelings and behaviours and demystifies relationship pattern.

I am trained in working with Depression, Anxiety, Loneliness, Loss, Rejection, Relationship Problems, Couple Therapy, Infidelity, Affair, Divorce, Separation, Life transition, Stress, Trauma, Late Diagnosis ADHD and Adult ADHD.

I have a great mix of professional know-how and cultural and personal experiences giving my work an extended expertise for those who want to find healthier relationships both with oneself and with others, want to reduce life stresses and discover once again joy, inner peace and fulfilment.

Prior to training as a therapist I worked as a Fraud Investigation Auditor for accountancy firms. My fascination to understand the unconscious and unhealthy behaviours often leading to unnecessary suffering, stresses, confusions and disappointments, ignited my decision to train as a psychotherapist.

I was born in Germany, partly growing up in Brazil and now for half of my life calling London my home. I am married, have one teenage son and a dog and a good understanding on complex family dynamics and finding a healthy work-life balance. I have arrived at a point in my life filled with inner peace, contentment and fulfilment and my wish is to support clients to make the right choices for themselves and for the people that matter to them.

I work out of West London  - Chiswick and Earls Court, or alternatively online.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited register membership

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
