About me
My passion is for 'building bridges': between the neurotypical (NT) and neurodivergent (ND) worlds, foreign cultures, genders, and generally between people, however they are. So, it might help you to know that there’s someone out there who is willing to listen, to help you better understand your situation and feelings, and to give you a space to ‘just be’.
I am an integrative counsellor and psychotherapist and work mainly humanistic, including drawing on TA, PCT, Gestalt, and CBT. This means, you decide what and how you want to talk about something, we might look at the past together, and at the here & now to find workable solutions for you, and I'm happy to go at your pace. I want to enable you to be who you are and want to be.
I also work in the areas of trauma, bereavement, miscarriage, amputation, and more. Feel free to ask me about this if your issue isn't covered here.
You do not need to be officially diagnosed with ASD or ADHD. Simply, if the above speaks to you and you wish to explore more about yourself, just get in touch. I'm available for face-to-face, online, and telephone counselling. Face-to-face sessions are taking place by prior arrangement on Monday afternoons and Wednesdays. Please contact me for more information. Many thanks.
