About me
I’m Kathleen, a practicing counsellor with NCPS. I am hugely passionate about supporting individuals and families in their journey towards reconnecting with themselves and their environments.
By exploring how our biology and life experiences shape the way we respond to stress and life’s events, I help clients develop a deeper understanding of what they are going through and why certain patterns of thinking, feeling, or behaving may have developed; holding trauma in-place. My journey as a counsellor has taken me into some of the most deeply meaningful and challenging aspects of counselling; working with victims of contact crime, grief and loss, anxiety and overwhelm, as well as a great deal of trauma support work.
Through building greater self-awareness, in both the mind and the body, it becomes possible to make more conscious choices, strengthen resilience, and move forward in a way that feels more balanced and empowering. This could not have been done without the in-depth work I have undertaken for myself on my path to growth and discovery.
I work through both short term and long term counselling with you at the heart of the sessions. You lead the way and together we work on the help you need.
