About me

If you’re feeling stuck in your life, overwhelmed by your thoughts, or unsure about who you are or where you’re going, you’re not alone, and you don’t have to figure it out on your own.

You might find yourself overthinking everything, feeling low without fully understanding why, or struggling in your relationships. At times, it can feel like you’re just getting through the day rather than actually living it.

I’m Kane, a qualified integrative counsellor and registered member of the BACP. I offer a warm, down-to-earth, and non-judgemental space where you can talk openly and feel genuinely heard.

I have experience supporting individuals within a residential rehabilitation setting, working closely with addiction, emotional distress, and complex personal challenges. This has given me a strong understanding of how feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected can impact everyday life.

I work using an integrative approach, primarily person-centred, while drawing on psychodynamic, existential, and CBT perspectives. This means we can explore both what you’re experiencing now and the deeper patterns behind it at a pace that feels right for you.

Alongside my professional experience, I bring a personal understanding of some of the challenges I support, which helps me approach sessions with empathy and realism, without judgment.

Sessions are offered online, allowing you to access support from the comfort and privacy of your own space.

Reaching out for support can feel like a big step, but you don’t have to do it alone. If you feel ready, you’re welcome to get in touch for an initial conversation. There’s no pressure, just a chance to see if I’m the right fit for you.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited register membership

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
