About me

I offer counselling in person or online. I am an accredited member of the National Counselling Society and work to their ethical guidelines. This means that your confidentiality is protected, we work towards mutually agreed goals, and we will discuss together how long therapy will last.

My counselling style is warm, interactive and conversational. I believe that living according to our own beliefs and values is crucial to our mental health and I will help you to explore what this means for you. Each session will be guided by you, focusing on what you want to talk about that day.

I am also trained in the Rewind Technique, which is a gentle but powerful way of helping to dissociate from trauma and overcoming specific phobias.

Training, qualifications & experience

  • Level 4 Diploma in Counselling
  • Bereavement Support Foundation Course
  • Certified Online Counsellor
  • Rewind Technique Practitioner
  • Level 7 Certificate in Supervision

There are no stairs to negotiate, just one step over the threshold into the garden room. A wheelchair or mobility scooter could come down the driveway and into the first part of the garden, but then there is about an 8 metre walk down a garden path.
