About me

When life feels heavy and emotions become hard to manage, it can seem as though you’re just getting through each day on autopilot. You might feel drained, stuck, or disconnected from yourself, unsure how things reached this point or how to find your way forward again.

You don’t have to face that alone. My goal is to walk alongside you, helping you tap into your own strength, clarity, and self-awareness so you can make changes that truly last. Together, we’ll create a path toward a life where you feel grounded, understood, and free to live authentically - with more balance, peace, and purpose.

I believe that the relationship you have with yourself - and with others - is central to your wellbeing. I also place great value on the healing relationship between counsellor and client, as it provides the trust, safety, and understanding needed to explore difficult experiences. This connection can be a powerful catalyst for personal growth, emotional healing, and lasting change.

My core modalities include Person-Centred, Psychodynamic and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). I am also a trauma-informed therapist, drawing on Polyvagal theory to help you understand and regulate your nervous system as part of the healing process. This allows me to work holistically - whether that’s supporting you to process present emotions, explore patterns from the past, or develop practical tools for change. Together, we can find the approach that feels most supportive for you.

I work from a secure, comfortable and private home office that is located on the ground floor, with toilet facilities and is wheelchair accessible. There is free on street parking on a quiet cul-de-sac.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am a highly qualified, university-trained Integrative Counsellor. I hold a Level 7 (PG Dip) qualification in Counselling. Which means not only do I use evidence-based theory and practice to ensure the best outcomes for you as my client, but I can continually adapt my counselling approach to best suit your needs throughout your therapeutic journey. Afterall, there is no one size fits all box in therapy.

Additionally, I hold a Solution Focused Hypnotherapy Diploma and a Master NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) Practitioner’s Certification, enabling me to integrate powerful mindset and behavioural change techniques into therapy where they can enhance the healing process.

I have built up my experience working at a well known charity  Counselling Organisation in Leicester since 2022 and have my own private practice based in Kettering, Northamptonshire.

With my qualifications and experience I bring both depth of knowledge and a breadth of skills to my work. You can feel assured that you are working with a highly qualified and committed professional. I’m here to walk alongside you, offering guidance and support as you make sense of your experiences and move toward greater clarity, resilience, and wellbeing.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
