About me
Are you in a relationship, or have you been in one, that has left you feeling confused, hurt, or anxious? Maybe you’ve been walking on eggshells, people-pleasing, feeling trapped, or worrying about what to do. Whether it’s a partner, ex-partner, parent, co-parent, friend, or colleague, being caught up in unhealthy relationship dynamics can have a huge impact on how you feel and on your mental health.
There is so much we can work through together. I specialise in helping people make sense of unhealthy relationships and how to manage them, including situations involving manipulation, control, narcissistic behaviours, trauma bonding, and co-dependency. Many people come to therapy unsure whether what they are experiencing is even “bad enough.” If that’s you, please know you are not alone.
You don’t need to have everything figured out before starting. Some people arrive with clear goals, others just feel stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure where to begin. Either way is completely OK. You will be met with compassion, not judgement, and supported at a pace that feels right for you.
I work integratively, which means I draw from a range of therapeutic approaches depending on what will be most helpful for you. Our sessions are tailored to your needs, helping you understand your experiences, reconnect with yourself, and begin to feel more confident, clear, and emotionally steady.
Alongside my specialist focus on unhealthy and toxic relationship dynamics, I also support people with trauma, PTSD, anxiety, self-esteem, and the longer-term effects of emotional abuse and neglect. We can work short-term or longer-term depending on what feels right for you.
Sessions are available face-to-face in Wilmslow, or remotely via phone or video across the UK.
Alongside my clinical work, I also provide training, speaking, and media commentary on unhealthy relationship behaviours, emotional abuse dynamics, and the psychological impact of Red Pill and manosphere ideology on relationships. I am passionate about increasing awareness and helping both individuals and professionals better understand these patterns so that people can recognise them earlier and feel more empowered to respond safely.
**I also contribute professional articles and publications on unhealthy relationship dynamics, with forthcoming work being published by the National Counselling & Psychotherapy Society (NCPS) and Woman Magazine.
I am also the author of Game Over, a forthcoming book about recognising and recovering from unhealthy relationship dynamics. If you would like to join the waiting list, you can do so here:

school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society This Not For Profit association of counsellors and psychotherapists aim to support the counselling profession, members and training organisations. In 2013 the NCS register was accredited by the Professional Standards Authority under the Accredited Voluntary Register Scheme. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
