About me
I am a BACP-registered integrative therapist working with adults and young people aged 16+, offering both short-term and open-ended therapy depending on individual needs. I provide a warm, supportive, and confidential space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace.
I work in a trauma-informed and relational way, drawing on person-centred and other humanistic approaches alongside CBT, psychodynamic, and compassion-focused therapy. My approach is flexible and tailored to you, recognising that each person’s experience is unique. I am also ADHD-informed and adapt my work to support different ways of thinking, feeling, and relating.
I support clients with a range of difficulties, including anxiety, emotional overwhelm, trauma, bereavement, life transitions, and relationship challenges, including narcissistic dynamics. I also work with those who may have had unhelpful experiences in previous therapy, offering a safe and steady space to rebuild trust.
I incorporate mindfulness and body-based awareness, supporting emotional regulation and the connection between mind and body. I work with sensitivity to each client’s cultural background, beliefs, and values, and offer sessions in both English and Russian.
I believe that healing takes place within a safe therapeutic relationship. I aim to offer a compassionate and non-judgemental space where you can feel heard, understood, and supported, and begin to reconnect with your authentic self.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am a BACP-registered integrative therapist, trained to work with adults and young people aged 16+. My training is grounded in person-centred and other humanistic approaches, alongside CBT and psychodynamic theory, allowing me to work in a flexible and integrative way.
I have experience working with a wide range of emotional and psychological difficulties, including anxiety, trauma, emotional overwhelm, bereavement, and relationship challenges. I have also worked within a bereavement service for two years, supporting clients through grief, loss, and major life transitions.
My work is informed by trauma-aware and attachment-based principles, as well as compassion-focused therapy, mindfulness, and body-based approaches. I am ADHD-informed and bring both professional knowledge and lived experience to my work, enabling me to support different ways of thinking, feeling, and relating.
Prior to training as a therapist, my background was in linguistics, and I have over 16 years of experience teaching the Russian language to individuals of all ages and levels. I continue to offer sessions in both English and Russian.
I am committed to ongoing professional development and regularly engage in further training and supervision to support my practice.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information
I offer sessions online, face-to-face in Brentwood, Essex, and walking therapy in nature, depending on your preference. Sessions are typically 50 minutes and usually take place weekly, with some flexibility where needed. I work in a relational and collaborative way, offering both short-term and open-ended therapy depending on your needs.
I understand that starting therapy can feel like an important step, and the first session is an opportunity for us to explore what has brought you to therapy and to see whether working together feels like a good fit.
My aim is to offer a steady, supportive space where you can take things at your own pace.
