About me
Do you find yourself putting others' needs before your own, struggling to set boundaries, repeating the same relationship patterns, or feeling overwhelmed by your emotions?
Many of these struggles have their roots in our early experiences and relationships. Even when we recognise that something isn't working, it can be difficult to understand why we keep repeating the same patterns. Therapy offers the opportunity to explore these patterns with curiosity, compassion, and without judgement.
As a Registered MBACP Psychodynamic Counsellor, I offer a warm, compassionate, and non-judgemental space where you can feel safe enough to explore what's happening in your life today, while gently exploring the deeper experiences that may be shaping your thoughts, feelings, and relationships.
I work with adults experiencing childhood trauma, anxiety, low self-esteem, attachment wounds, people-pleasing, relationship difficulties, emotional overwhelm, and the impact of difficult or narcissistic relationships.
By gaining a deeper understanding of yourself and your experiences, you can begin to break free from patterns that no longer serve you and create lasting, meaningful change.
I understand that reaching out for support can feel daunting. Many of my clients come to therapy after years of trying to cope on their own. My aim is to provide a safe and supportive space where you feel genuinely heard, understood, and accepted.
Healing is not about erasing the past; it is about understanding it, making peace with it, and freeing yourself from patterns that may be holding you back. Through therapy, you can develop a kinder relationship with yourself, gain greater emotional freedom, and move forward with more confidence and clarity.
You don't have to be in crisis to seek support.
Many people come to therapy believing they should cope on their own or that their struggles "aren't serious enough."
The truth is, you don't have to wait until you're at breaking point.
Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck in repeating relationship patterns, struggling with low self-esteem, or simply need a safe, confidential space where someone will truly listen, therapy can help you better understand yourself and move towards lasting change.
Therapy can help you to:
• Understand and break unhealthy relationship patterns
• Build self-esteem and self-worth
• Learn to set healthy boundaries without guilt
• Manage overwhelming emotions more effectively
• Reduce people-pleasing behaviours
• Process grief, loss, and unmet emotional needs
• Develop greater self-awareness and self-compassion
• Build healthier relationships with yourself and others
Taking the first step towards therapy can feel daunting, but you don't have to do it alone. I offer a free 15-minute consultation where we can talk about what brings you to therapy, answer any questions you may have, and see whether we're the right fit to work together. I'd be delighted to hear from you.
You don't have to carry everything on your own.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
