About me
Jude Harris | Clarity Counselling and Wellbeing Practise | L4 Dip, MSc Psychology, MNCPS (Acc.)
What I can help with
I work with helping clients re discover who they are when adjusting to life changes or loss that come after illness, relationship changes, career changes, financial struggles, ageing, bereavement. For many these periods are stressful and lower our capacity to cope with every daily living. This can lead to increased anxiety, lower mood, bring about low self confidence and lowered self esteem and confusion about our roles in life. I help clients navigate and make meaning, ready to focus on moving forward.
I'm also a Bereavement counsellor, having done part of my training with Cruse Bereavement; where I still volunteer at. I’m trained in complicated grief, bereaved by suicide, and disenfranchised grief.
I also help with professional burnout, work stress and the demands that puts on our lives. Before training as a counsellor, I spent over 15 years leading demanding projects across public and private sectors; often in regulated, pressured environments. That background gives me a genuine understanding of professional pressure, identity built around career, and the cost of burn out.
How I work
I am an Integrative Counsellor and use different theory and methods to help you understand what's happened and make meaning. These include Person Centered, Psychodynamic, CBT, Transactional Analysis and I have had Trauma Informed training. I also use Coaching Psychology theory and tools to help you move forward, rebuild and thrive.
So whether you're carrying grief, navigating the identity shifts of a serious illness, going through peri/menopause, experiencing relationship changes, coming to terms with ageing, or burned out by work or even simply feeling the weight of a rapidly changing world, I'm here to help you make sense of what's happening and help you move forward and grow into a life where you're truly thriving.

Grief and Bereavement · Anxiety · Low Self Confidence · Low Self Esteem · Empowerment · Work induced burnout and stress · Identity and role changes, relationship breakdowns, menopause, illness, career burnout and professional stress · Resilience and Personal growth · Loss

About Me
I'm a big advocate for Women's strength training (in any form) especially in mid life and conducted my Masters dissertation around this - with themes of empowerment and self determination. I love being outdoors, even if its a 20min walk in the local woods when I can and I retrained as a Counsellor in my late 40's. In October I'm starting a L5 in CBT to help enhance my Anxiety client work.
Organisations
I also specialise and offer consulting services to small and medium size businesses - helping workplaces understand team dynamics, company culture and the impact of dysfunction and toxic environments and the hidden costs and impact to business and build employee wellbeing.
