About me

Hello, I'm Jordan, an Integrative Counsellor and a registered member of the BACP.

Being an integrative counsellor means I can blend Person-Centred, Psychodynamic, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy approaches during our sessions, depending on what feels most helpful for you. I work with adults, older adults, as well as children and young people.

I have experienced therapy myself before becoming a counsellor, so alongside my professional training, I also bring personal understanding of the process. It’s my hope to offer you the same kind of support and guidance.

Inclusivity is one of my core values, and I believe in creating a safe, supportive, and understanding space where everyone can feel heard, respected, and free from judgment.

Choosing a therapist can feel daunting, but the most important thing is building a strong connection and feeling safe. I offer a warm, compassionate, and empathic approach, tailored to your individual needs.

Training, qualifications & experience

I’m an integrative counsellor, which means I work with you as a whole person, not just the problem you’re facing. I aim to be warm, understanding, inclusive, and non-judgemental, so you can feel safe to be yourself, whatever your background, identity, or life experience.

My approach is person-centred, so I’ll listen carefully, support you, and help you gently make sense of what’s going on for you. I value and respect diversity, and I strive to create a space where everyone feels seen, heard, and accepted.

I’m really interested in people and their stories, and I work with adults and young people to help them navigate difficult times. Inclusivity is at the heart of my work, and I aim to offer a space where you can feel accepted and supported, just as you are.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
