About me
Feeling Stuck or Facing Resistance?
I specialise in helping people navigate life’s challenges, whether it’s a career shift, relationship struggles, or a feeling that something’s holding you back, even if you can’t quite put your finger on it. Together, we’ll work to uncover these barriers and find ways to move forward. Therapy isn’t about me giving you answers, it’s about exploring your own experiences and strengths to find solutions that fit your needs.
Sessions take place online via Google Meet for 50 minutes (sometimes called a “therapy hour”). I offer an open and engaging space to explore what’s happening for you now and what might be holding you back, maybe even patterns from the past that you’re starting to notice. As a therapist, I work collaboratively with my clients, charting a path together to find a way of working that suits your unique needs. We’ll explore how you think and feel, and sometimes we might use creative tools like drawing, writing, or even Lego. These activities can help you connect with feelings and ideas that might be hard to express through words alone. I work at your pace, balancing conversation and creativity to make our sessions effective and suited to your needs.
If you’d like to explore working together, I offer a free 20-minute consultation to see if we’re a good fit. This no-pressure conversation gives you a chance to share a bit about your challenges and ask any questions you might have about therapy. If we decide to work together, we’ll use our first full session to outline what you’d like to achieve, giving us a strong foundation to start the journey.
Training, qualifications & experience
BSc (Hons) Humanistic & Integrative Psychotherapy (First Class) – The Sherwood Psychotherapy Training Institute (SPTI), Nottingham. This rigorous training included academic study, weekly personal therapy (160+ hours), and over 200 hours of clinical experience, working with clients at multiple counselling charities.
I am dedicated to ongoing professional growth through regular CPD (Continuing Professional Development), weekly personal therapy, and fortnightly supervision.
In addition, I actively participate in a monthly personal development process group and am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP).
Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
