About me
Feeling stuck or facing resistance? You may be dealing with high stress, intrusive thoughts, relationship difficulties, a tendency to hide away, or a quiet sense that something is holding you back even if you cannot quite put it into words. From the outside, things may look fine, but inside you may feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure how to move forward.
Together, we will explore what may be getting in the way and begin to gently uncover what is needed for change. Therapy with me is not about giving you answers or advice. It is a space to explore your experiences, reconnect with your own strengths, and begin making choices that feel more aligned with who you are.
I offer an open, engaged space where we can explore what is happening for you in the present, alongside any patterns from the past that may be shaping your experience now.
I work collaboratively, which means we will shape an approach that suits your needs. We may explore how you think, feel, and relate, and sometimes use creative or reflective tools such as drawing or writing if that feels helpful. I work at your pace, balancing conversation with reflection so that sessions feel supportive, grounded, and useful.
I offer face to face sessions from my therapy room in Ancoats, Manchester, which is within easy walking distance of major transport links, as well as online sessions from the comfort of your own space.
If you would like to explore working together, I offer a free 20 minute consultation or a 50 minute consultation for £30. This is a gentle first conversation where you can share a little about what is going on for you and ask any questions you may have about therapy and how I work.
If we decide to continue, we will use our first full session to clarify what you would like from therapy and what support may be most helpful, so we have a clear foundation for the work ahead.
I also recognise that therapy is not always a one size fits all process. While regular weekly sessions can be important at the beginning to build consistency and momentum, the rhythm of therapy can be reviewed over time depending on your needs, circumstances, and the stage of the work.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
