In therapy, we explore the patterns, emotions, and experiences that shape how you relate to yourself and others. Together, we look at your thoughts, behaviours, and underlying beliefs to understand where they come from and how they influence your present life. This might include exploring your past relationships, attachment styles, communication habits, and coping mechanisms — as well as moments of conflict, self-doubt, or disconnection.
Therapy provides a safe and reflective space to unpack these experiences, identify recurring themes, and develop healthier, more conscious ways of responding. It’s also a place to reconnect with your authentic self, clarify your values, and strengthen your ability to navigate relationships and life's challenges with greater awareness and self-compassion.

At The WellBee’ing Lodge I can offer :
Counselling - Counselling is a talking therapy that involves a trained therapist listening to you and helping you find ways to deal with emotional issues. Sometimes the term "counselling" is used to refer to talking therapies in general, but counselling is also a type of therapy in its own right.
What can counselling help with?
Counselling can help you cope with:
A mental health condition, such as depression, anxiety or an eating disorder
An upsetting physical health condition, such as infertility
A difficult life event, such as a bereavement, a relationship breakdown or work-related stress
Difficult emotions – for example, low self-esteem or anger
Other issues, such as sexual identity.
Psychotherapy / Psychodynamic Therapy - Psychodynamic psychotherapy is more I depth than Counselling , it looks at how childhood experiences and thoughts you're not aware of (your unconscious mind) could be affecting your thinking, feelings, relationships and behaviour today. This is more in depth and could be longer therapy sessions than counselling. The work involves working in the past , present and future. .
Relationship Therapy - relationship therapy can help people who have problems that they wish to solve in their relationship's. Relationship therapy, or couples counselling, provides space for couples to discuss their issues and find solutions to problems within their relationship.
Relationships are an essential part of our lives. Close relationships bring many rewards but they are also challenging. All relationships face challenges. How we deal with these challenges is important and plays a significant role in how we experience close personal relationships and in how we resolve conflicts when they arise.
Contact me at the WellBee’ing Lodge to discuss your therapy. At times therapy may become challenging, but this is when your ‘stuff’ and emotions may come to the present. We will work through these tough emotions together.
When we are at our most vulnerable, this is when we both know this is the area that may need to be worked through.
Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society This Not For Profit association of counsellors and psychotherapists aim to support the counselling profession, members and training organisations. In 2013 the NCS register was accredited by the Professional Standards Authority under the Accredited Voluntary Register Scheme. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
