About me
I’m Joanne, an Accredited Pluralistic Counsellor offering a warm, supportive, and non-judgemental space where you can feel heard and understood.
Life can sometimes feel overwhelming. You may be struggling with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, trauma, work-related stress, or relationship difficulties. Whatever you’re facing, you don’t have to go through it alone. Taking the first step can feel daunting, but you will be met with empathy, kindness, and respect.
My approach is client-led and tailored to your individual needs. As a pluralistic counsellor, I believe there is no “one size fits all” in therapy. We will work together at your pace, helping you develop self-awareness, gain new perspectives, and feel more in control of your life. My aim is to support you in navigating life’s challenges and moving towards a greater sense of balance and contentment.
I offer both short-term and long-term therapy for adults aged 18 and over.
I hold a Level 5 Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling Practice, along with a Certificate in Hypnotherapy and Counselling Skills. I also volunteer with Suffolk Mind, supporting individuals experiencing a wide range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, loss, and issues relating to sexuality and gender.
