About me
It can be really hard to reach out for support sometimes, even when we know we might need it, but I'm here if you feel you'd benefit from a safe space to talk and explore what is troubling you.
I have experience with a wide range of general mental health struggles, however, I often work with clients presenting with low self-esteem, anxiety, relational issues, trauma or those who have experienced emotional neglect/abuse.
I work most frequently with neurodivergent individuals (mainly those with suspected or diagnosed ADHD) and common co-occurring conditions such as RSD, emotional dysregulation, low self-worth, anxiety, depression and chronic pain. I also have significant experience to bring to supporting those in NT/ADHD relationships, having both a personal and professional understanding of some of the unique challenges that may present.
As a person-centred, integrative counsellor, I work in a way specific to each individual, taking into account all that is unique about them & their story. It is important to me to pay attention to a client's particular needs and hopes for therapy, working closely with them in these areas, helping them to also grow in self-awareness and self-confidence along the way.
I work remotely (via video or phone) and have availability at various times throughout the week, mainly in the evenings. Weekend availability may be possible.
