About me

I am a counselling psychologist and have worked with a diverse range of clients in NHS, charity, and educational settings. You may be seeking support for a specific issue such as anxiety, depression, low mood, relationship or interpersonal difficulties, low self-esteem, trauma, or loss. Or perhaps you're seeking a space to think more generally about your experiences, explore the impact they have on your life, and gain a better understanding of yourself. My aim is to provide a safe, empathic, and non-judgemental space where you can speak about your life in a way that feels most comfortable for you.

Please contact me to arrange a free 15 minute introductory call.

Training, qualifications & experience

My approach is grounded in trauma-informed practice and will be tailored to meet your unique needs. I draw on various modalities, including psychodynamic psychotherapy, which helps you to explore how past experiences and relationships have and continue to impact your life. I also draw on Compassion-Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, depending on your needs and goals for therapy.

Registered / Accredited

Registered / Accredited

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

HCPC
Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.

They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.

Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
