Hello, my name is Jess Bryson and I am a Person-Centred Counsellor and Psychotherapist working face-to- face in Edinburgh as well as on the phone and online via video calls.
I am a warm, supportive and empathetic person and I will not shy away from gently challenging your thoughts and beliefs about yourself in order to help you to move forward and grow as a person.
People feel able to open up and share with me their inner most thoughts.

Training, qualifications & experience
My Qualifications:
- Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP Accredited)
- COSCA Certificate in Counselling Skills
I have completed CPD courses on topics such as Suicide and Self Harm, Neurodiversity, Chronic Pain, Shame and Childhood Sexual Abuse.
I have a background in academia as a Researcher and Project Manager in Stakeholder Engagement and I am also a trained Facilitator.

The National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society This Not For Profit association of counsellors and psychotherapists aim to support the counselling profession, members and training organisations. In 2013 the NCS register was accredited by the Professional Standards Authority under the Accredited Voluntary Register Scheme. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

My fees for a 50 minute session are £60.
I can offer concessionary rates on request. However, all my concessionary sessions are currently full and I am not able to offer any more at the moment.
I offer a 15 minute free introduction phone chat for us to see if we might be a good fit to work together.
