About me
I am an accredited member of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS) and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
My therapeutic approach is integrative and trauma-informed. This means I draw on a range of therapeutic models to meet your individual needs. I believe counselling should provide a safe, compassionate, and non-judgemental space where you feel heard, respected, and supported.
I currently work as a specialist Psychological Therapist within a sexual assault service for children and young people, where I provide specialist trauma-informed therapy to those who have experienced sexual violence and abuse. My role involves supporting clients with complex trauma, PTSD, and the long-term emotional impact of abuse. I help young people make sense of their experiences, process difficult emotions, and gradually regain a sense of safety, stability, and empowerment.
I have experience working with:
- Sexual trauma and abuse
- PTSD and complex trauma
- Anxiety and panic
- Depression
- Complex and traumatic bereavement
- Shame and self-worth difficulties
- Emotional regulation challenges
- Young people and adolescents
At the heart of my work is the belief that healing happens within safe and trusting therapeutic relationships. Whether you are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, grieving, or trying to understand painful experiences, I offer a calm and containing space where we can work together at your pace.
If you would like to explore whether we might be a good fit, I warmly invite you to get in touch.
