About me
When something really doesn't feel right, counselling is a space to meet the parts of us that are stuck or struggling - a place to recalibrate, reorientate, and ask the bigger questions of life.
I offer sessions online across the UK and face-to-face in Exeter city centre, for adults navigating difficulty in life and challenges in living well. Sessions are an hour long, and can be a single session, or a scheduled weekly or fortnightly meeting - whatever suits you.
Our sessions will centre on your needs, hopes and struggles, in a way that's self-exploratory and resourcing. Alongside our conversations, I offer gentle education about the nervous system, and we can explore embodiment and creative processes - tailored to your own way of working - which support change, release old patterns, and open up space for something new.

Online counselling - £50 sessions via Zoom or Google Meet, to help you find lasting clarity and navigate difficulty. Online therapy has proved just as effective - if a little different - as meeting face to face. All you’ll need is some privacy, a device with video, a free Zoom or Googlemail account, and a wi-fi connection.
Face-to-face counselling - £50 therapy in person, to help you grow in a calm, welcoming space. We'll meet at The Practice Rooms in central Exeter to use a comfortable and spacious therapy room. We will have privacy to talk, and access to art materials, the sand tray, and room to move, if you’d like to explore working in these ways too.
Further information
My work is grounded in six years of study and training across cognitive, creative, and relational therapies, based at the Heartwood training centre, and in Plymouth city.
I have supported clients:
- deep in complex grief and mourning, to honour what's been lost.
- living with complex PTSD, addiction, and trauma - finding anchors, understanding, and a little more room to breathe.
- in compassion fatigue and carer’s burnout, to find their way back to rest.
- cultivating self-awareness and a new kind of assertiveness, moving toward a less stuck life.
- navigating romantic and relationship difficulty, in search of self-acceptance and dignity.
- experiencing climate anxiety, global distress, and existential threat - helping cultivate some peace and purpose amid it.
- exploring new identity: self-expression, boundaries, and fresh perspectives emerging with the experience of making room to acknowledge and honour the many dimensions of one's self.
My counselling style is gentle but frank. As my client, you choose our direction and our pace, and I accompany you- offering care and understanding in the service of meeting life’s difficulties.
Together we work to grow a sense of empowerment and to find a way forward in living well, however that looks for you.
