About me

Life can feel really tough at times. If you are feeling low, anxious, or you have experienced things in your life that are impacting how you feel on a day to day basis, I can help. As your therapist, I will provide a space for you, where we can think about what is happening in your life, explore together what might be the cause of your pain and what change might look like for you.

I am an integrative therapist trained in both person-centred and psychodynamic traditions with a keen personal interest in existential and Jungian therapy. My main focus throughout our work together is getting alongside you, wherever you find yourself, as you embark on your therapy journey.

Building our relationship is central to the work we will do together and you can expect me to prioritise this throughout. I am an approachable and empathic practitioner, fully committed to helping you make informed decisions about how you want to live your life.

I have experience/ training with, or I am currently working with clients who have experienced trauma, addiction, sexual assault, religious deconstruction, grief and loss, difficult family issues/estrangement, depression, loss of identity and anxiety. I have worked with clients with self-esteem and relationship issues and questions about sexuality.  I am working with clients who are neuro-diverse.

There is a lot of choice when it comes to therapists out there, so I offer a free 15 minute phone call where I can tell you more about how I practice and you can see if I would be a good fit for what you are experiencing. I offer in-person and online sessions

I look forward to getting to know you and working with you.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
