About me
I'm an integrative counsellor, working with individuals, couples and other types of relationships, using a number of techniques and methods to help you work through issues that are prompting you to look for support.
My practice is inclusive, and relaxed and can be face to face or online depending on your location and ability to travel. My aim is to build a therapeutic relationship with you that enables you to explore issues honestly, safely, and without judgement. Embarking on counselling isn't always an easy process, but it is a process, with a beginning, middle and end and I'll be with you throughout.
Short term or long term work is all possible, and we will work together to find a focus and realistic goals, even if we decide to shift focus - we will still do it together.
I have worked successfully with people who are experiencing anxiety, depression, PTSD/CPTSD, addiction issues and with people who have had experiences that have had a lasting impact on their life.
I have supported people going through difficult, life changing events, family or relationship issues, work related issues or those that have experienced loss.
Sometimes we don't have one specific issue, but we want to understand more about ourselves, why we might behave in certain ways or think certain things. Counselling can help with that too.
I believe in finding a stable base, building awareness and knowledge, and finally finding a place of empowerment so that you can find safety and re-engage with yourself.
Training, qualifications & experience

I have experience in working with trauma, PTSD/CPTSD, anxiety, depression, addiction, neurodiversity, women's health issues, relationships, identity, sexuality, work related issues, and supporting grief and bereavement.
I work in a trauma informed way, am LGBTQ+ aware and work consciously and openly with a diverse client base.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
