About me

I am an experienced psychotherapist working with infants, children, adolescents, and adults. I offer a warm, thoughtful, and emotionally supportive space where people can feel safe enough to talk openly about what they are experiencing.

People come to therapy for many different reasons. Some may feel overwhelmed, anxious, low, emotionally stuck, misunderstood, or exhausted from coping alone for a long time. Others may be struggling with relationships, trauma, neurodivergence, loss, self-esteem, or difficult life experiences that continue to affect them in the present.

My approach is informed by psychodynamic, relational, developmental, and neuropsychoanalytic thinking. This means I am interested not only in current difficulties, but also in understanding the deeper emotional patterns and experiences that may sit beneath them.

I believe therapy is most helpful when people feel genuinely heard, understood, and accepted without judgement. I aim to create a space where thoughts and feelings can be explored safely and at a pace that feels manageable.

Alongside my clinical work, I am a clinical supervisor and writer. I am listed on the Clinical Register of the International Neuropsychoanalysis Society and am currently undertaking further training toward qualification as a Neuropsychoanalyst.

At the centre of my work is the belief that meaningful change often develops gradually through safe, emotionally attuned relationships.

Other areas of counselling I deal with

It is important to understand and provide an experience of therapy that works for the client regardless of their age. A safe and secure space where they can explore the difficulties they are encountering. This can take many forms as it is tailored to individual needs and there is rarely one fits all solution to people’s struggles.
