Sometimes we feel "STUCK" and don't know where to turn.

I offer a  'Quiet'  'Safe'  'Confidential'  'Friendly'  environment in which to explore your feelings.

My initial approach to working with clients is from a 'Humanistic' perspective.

I will listen empathically - giving positive regard to what you have to say.

I will not judge you or tell you what to do.

As an 'Integrative Counsellor' and 'Cognitive Behavioural Therapist' I am able to adapt my style of working to suit your needs - this can be particularly useful when clients say they are "looking for more than just a listening ear".

The first session is to get to know one another and make an 'initial assessment' of your current needs.

There is no commitment to continue in counselling following your first session - you may want time to reflect on your experience before making a decision and this is O.K.

Should you choose to continue in counselling we will agree a contract for a said number of sessions - this will be reviewed on a regular basis.

You can change your mind about attending counselling at any point.

Please do not hesitate to contact me prior to making an appointment when I'd be more than happy to clarify any of the above information.
