About me
My Personal Journey and Professional Background. I understand that life isn’t always a straight path. In my early years, I was expelled from school and made plenty of mistakes. It was through my own experience with therapy that I was able to turn my life around, eventually attending university and embarking on a career dedicated to helping others. This personal transformation fuels my commitment to supporting those who feel misunderstood or overlooked.
Before my own therapeutic journey, I worked as a youth and support worker, assisting individuals with autism, ADHD, and various mental health challenges.
Later, at age 29, I was diagnosed with ADHD and ASD. I have since focused on tailoring therapeutic strategies for neurodivergent individuals, including teenagers, children, and families. I believe that every person deserves an in-depth exploration of how their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors interconnect, rather than a quick diagnosis followed solely by medication.
Areas of Expertise: My work is primarily rooted in Existential Psychotherapy, an approach that helps people explore life's deep questions about meaning, freedom, and authenticity. To enrich this journey, I also integrate techniques from:
Gestalt Therapy: Encouraging awareness of the here-and-now, so you can connect with your present thoughts and emotions.
Person-Centered Therapy: Focusing on the belief that you have an innate capacity to grow, with empathy and unconditional positive regard as the cornerstones.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): Offering practical tools to challenge and reframe negative patterns by exploring the links between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.
Solution-Focused Therapy: Highlighting your strengths and practical strategies that help you move forward.
My current practice spans several key areas:
ADHD Therapy and Coaching: Through my work with headstuff ADHD, I offer specialist support to navigate the unique challenges of ADHD.
Addiction Support: In collaboration with the NHS, I work with individuals facing addictions, providing empathetic, evidence-based interventions.
I have extensive experience working with a broad range of issues, including:
Neurodivergence: ADHD, ASD, and dyspraxia.
Mental Health Conditions: Depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and borderline/EUPD.
Specialized Areas: LGBT identities, gender dysphoria, body dysmorphia, and suicidal ideation. Managing aggression, anger, and the distinct emotional experiences of men.
Why Work With Me?
I bring both professional expertise and personal insight to the therapeutic relationship. Having navigated my own struggles and transformations, I understand the courage it takes to seek help and make meaningful changes. My commitment is to create a warm, non-judgmental space where you feel heard, valued, and empowered. If you're ready to explore your inner world and work together toward a more authentic and fulfilling life, I’m here to support you every step of the way.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
