About me
I specialise in working with Relationships as I strongly believe we need a good relationship with ourselves to help us build healthy relationships with others, helping us to relate better to the world we share. I provide an integrative therapeutic approach for Individuals & all relationships. Our work will help you gain deeper understanding on your life story, so understanding your depression or anxiety, or addictive behaviours or suicidal thoughts, maybe self-harming, or suffering traumatic effects from abuse, or perhaps you’re feeling sad or lost & would like support to work out what’s going on. Clients have worked with me through the loss of their relationship after a break-up, finding a new way of believing in themselves as an individual.
I support Couples with understanding individual experiences affecting your unique relationship, including your Sexual experiences, and how to understand your relationship with new insight. I work with monogamous, as well as "open" & "poly" couples & am able to support you in exploring the unique concerns & issues you have.
I support students studying to be a Counsellor or Psychotherapist, positively encouraging you through the logical & emotional experiences, so gaining new insight into who you are and the type of counsellor you would like to be.
My cultural background has given me insight into unique identity, how we feel about who we are, who we identify as & the childhood environment affecting us into becoming the person we are today. I can support you to find strength in your unique identity & also the unique couple you are, understanding yourself more and gaining more secure relationships with those around you.
Some of my clients also like working with the effects of experiences held in the body from childhood into adulthood, how anxiety can be held like a tight spring. I explore ways to support you to move forward to find your rhythm and balance within your body, for that sense of physical freedom in your life.

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
