About us
Hello and welcome. I'm Carole, a qualified Integrative Psychotherapist and Counsellor with nearly 30 years of experience working with individuals and groups facing complex individual/relational needs and trauma. I support individuals, couples, and various relationship dynamics in navigating challenges and fostering positive change within a genuinely compassionate, empathic, and respectful environment.
Whether working individually or with relationships, my training and experience enable me to identify needs, build sincere rapport, and provide a wealth of strategies and tools to help you achieve the positive changes you desire. Recognizing that present pain often stems from past experiences, our sessions will involve exploring the root of the issues you're facing, but all in a trauma-informed way, so as not to further add to the burden. From there, we will focus on strategically moving forward together to realise your goals for Counselling.
My Specialisations:
I have a wealth of success in helping Couples/relationships and people with anxiety and depression and those feeling stuck. I also work with those experiencing the effects of trauma and utilise the Rewind Technique a Neuro Linguistic Programming-based intervention, to help people move on with their lives. In addition to the relationship models I learnt in My main qualifications; I am have also many hours of CPD in Imago Therapy, which greatly enhances my work with couples and relationships per sae. In all my work, with various presentations of need, I draw upon a diverse array of effective, evidence-based assessment tools and frameworks to ensure our sessions are tailored to your unique and holistic needs and ensuring that you receive the most suitable support on your journey toward healing and growth.
How I Work:
Initial contact
I respond to enquiries within 2 days*. (*PLEASE CHECK YOUR SPAM FOLDER FOR MY REPLY IF YOU DON'T RECEIVE IN YOUR INBOX WITHIN THIS TIMESCALE).
Free Complementary Call
I believe in the importance of a strong therapeutic alliance, which is why I offer a complimentary 30-minute telephone consultation. This initial conversation allows us to discuss your goals and assess our compatibility. My incentive is to encourage and optimise people's chances of growth, so, if after our initial chat, we decide that another professional may better meet your needs, I will gladly provide a referral pathway to another recommended source of therapy.
Moving Forward
If we decide to move forward, I will send you the necessary paperwork and schedule our first session. During this session, we will conduct a comprehensive assessment to identify the most effective strategies for your personal growth. Together, we will create a customised plan that evolves as you do, with regular check-ins to monitor your progress and adjust our approach as necessary.
I am committed to providing a non-judgmental, confidential space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings, fostering the growth and healing you seek.

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
The Association of Christians in Counselling and Linked Professions (ACC) is a Christian professional membership organisation for those involved in counselling/psychotherapy and linked professions, i.e. pastoral care, coaching and spiritual direction, in the UK. The organisation is made up of various different membership categories, including Counsellor and Accredited, and requires all members working as counsellors to undertake Continuous Professional Development on a regular basis.
