About me
I work with adults who feel stuck in patterns that no longer serve them.
Many of the people I work with have already spent time reflecting on themselves and may have had previous therapy, yet still find themselves struggling with recurring anxiety, self-doubt, perfectionism, people-pleasing or relationship difficulties. They are often looking for a more focused approach that helps them move beyond insight and create meaningful change.
My approach is integrative, drawing on EMDR, CBT and ACT-informed approaches depending on what you want to work on. I am an EMDR Europe Accredited Practitioner with additional training in Attachment-Informed EMDR. EMDR can be particularly helpful for anxiety, panic, phobias, performance-related challenges and patterns that have developed over time.
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) is an evidence-based therapy recommended by NICE and the World Health Organisation. I use it alongside CBT and ACT-informed approaches where appropriate, rather than following one approach for everyone.
I offer online therapy throughout the UK, with limited in-person sessions available in Dunfermline. Online sessions offer the convenience of working from home, and online EMDR is delivered using a secure EMDR platform with no software download required.
I have over 19 years' experience working therapeutically across a range of settings and am an accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
If you are looking for a focused, evidence-based approach and are ready to actively engage in making changes, I offer a free introductory call to discuss what you are looking for and whether my approach would be a good fit for you.

Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
