Supervision details
I offer reflective, supportive and collaborative clinical supervision for counsellors and psychotherapists working in private practice or organisational settings.
My core training was originally person-centred and then CBT. Over the years my practice has evolved into a more integrative approach, drawing from ACT, compassion-focused approaches, attachment theory, and trauma-informed practice. I am also an EMDR Accredited Practitioner and much of my client work now focuses on trauma and EMDR therapy.
Alongside clinical skills and case discussion, I value creating a supervision space where therapists can think openly, reflect honestly, and feel supported in the emotional impact of the work. I aim to offer supervision that is containing, thoughtful and non-judgemental, while also helping therapists build confidence, clarity and direction in their clinical work.
I welcome supervisees working with:
Anxiety and depression
Trauma and PTSD
Attachment and relational difficulties
Neurodivergent clients
Complex presentations
General adult mental health presentations
While I have a strong trauma and EMDR background, I also genuinely enjoy supporting therapists with broader integrative practice and everyday client work. Supervision can include formulation, relational dynamics, stuck points in therapy, practitioner self-awareness, ethical reflection, and developing confidence in your therapeutic style.
I particularly value working with therapists who may:
Feel uncertain or self-critical in the work
Be transitioning into private practice
Want a more grounded and relational supervision space
Be integrating different modalities rather than working rigidly from one model
Want support balancing clinical effectiveness with authenticity and compassion
My approach to supervision is warm, collaborative and down-to-earth. I believe good supervision should feel both professionally containing and human.
I currently offer online supervision across the UK.
If you are looking for a supportive and encouraging supervisor, I’d be very happy to arrange a free 15-minute online call to see if we’re a good fit.
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
