In today’s busy world life can sometimes feel overwhelming, leaving us struggling to manage emotions that often feel like they’ve come from nowhere. Experiencing feelings of anxiety, depression, sadness, panic attacks, anger and work-related stress or suffering from a constant low mood, can often lead us to feeling bewildered and alone.
In my experience many people can feel anxious discussing their struggles, so as an experienced qualified counsellor, I aim to provide a safe, warm and caring space in which together we can explore effective ways to enable you to feel positive, empowered and better able to move forward with your life.

Alongside my as work in Private Practice, I am a voluntary counsellor for Mind and also work in a private drug and alcohol rehabilitation clinic.
I am trained in an Integrative approach, this allows me to meet the needs of clients using the most appropriate and flexible manner and brings together different elements of specific therapies.
Even though clients may present with similar issues, I believe we are all individuals and as such our journey in therapy will be most beneficial if it specifically meets our individual needs.
You may be considering therapy due to experiencing any number of things, whether you are experiencing a crisis or significant life event, such the loss of a loved one or a relationship break up, to just feeling that you’re stuck and unable to move forward in life. It’s not unusual to find ourselves feeling that we could get more out of life “if only”, and here the list is endless: “If only I “was more confident, could challenge my boss, give up smoking, end this unhappy relationship, lose weight, stop drinking/ using drugs, relying on others to speak for me, cope with my anxiety, etc.
There really is no issue that can’t be brought to therapy and explored, working through a problem at your own pace and learning new ways to approach life can be liberating and life-changing.
