About me

I offer a safe, confidential, non-judgemental place where you can explore whatever is, or isn't,  troubling you. With warmth, humour, honesty and realness, I can help re-find that sense of self.

My approach is never one-size-fits-all. We work together.

I incorporate: Person-Centred Counselling: ensuring you are fully accepted and heard without judgement. CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy): For managing immediate anxiety and difficult thoughts, giving you practical tools, and Attachment Theory: For understanding how past relationships influence your current sense of self.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am committed to ethical and informed counselling. My practice is underpinned by comprehensive training and experience:

I hold a Post Graduate Diploma in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy and am currently completing my Masters at the University of Derby.

I am a Registered Member of the ACC and a Member (student*) of the BACP, strictly adhering to their ethical frameworks.

I have three years of focused experience as a counsellor. This is supported by over 25 years of broad experience in professional media and community leadership roles, which gives me unique insight into high-pressure work environments and complex life transitions.
