About me
I am an experienced UKCP registered Gestalt Psychotherapist, supervisor, trainer and EMDR practitioner using IFS, specialising in trauma and a trauma-informed approach. I also offer intensive EMDR in 3 hours sessions per day.
I offer a relational and experiential attitude with an emphasis on body process. I listen carefully to you and I finely attune myself to your individual needs in order to identify how best to help you move forward and live your potential.
Opening up about yourself takes courage. Respectful of this process, I offer a warm and welcoming, therapeutically creative and completely confidential space for you to engage in the process of growth and healing.
I believe that the therapeutic relationship is key to healing. I understand that we can struggle to express our thoughts and particularly our inner feelings to others, especially if we fear judgement or being misunderstood. As you explore your thoughts and feelings you can gain greater understanding and awareness. This in turn, allows you to respond flexibly to life's challenges and let go of any unhelpful patterns and open yourself up to a wider range of options and exciting possibilities.
I hope to walk alongside you on this journey of self-discovery.

Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.
As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.
UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information
I am interested in our unique and intimate relationship to our "voice" and how we express and voice ourselves in the world. I listen out for the song we each have inside us which I believe is composed of the notes of our very own beauty and uniqueness.
I work with singers and performers to help them overcome performance anxiety or any other issues to do with the creative process.
I also work in sound healing and the healing power of the voice. I can carry out a Voice Analysis with VoiceBio for which toning is the prescription. Please see following webpage for more information:

I am a regular practitioner of Mindfulness Meditation and TM - Transcendental Meditation.
