About me
Hello, I'm Hannah and I'm glad you are here.
Perhaps, on the outside, you're managing to keep everything going. You're showing up for other people, getting through the day and doing what needs to be done. But underneath, things might feel a little harder than you'd like them to.
You might feel anxious, overwhelmed, disconnected from yourself or unsure of who you are beneath everything that is expected of you. Perhaps you find yourself putting others first, struggling to say no, or feeling that whatever you do, it's never quite enough. You might be navigating grief, a difficult relationship or a period of change that has left you feeling lost.
Or perhaps you can't quite put your finger on what's wrong. You just know that something doesn't feel right.
Whatever has brought you here, you don't need to have it all figured out before reaching out. You can come as you are, and we can begin to make sense of things together.
How I work
I'm a warm, empathetic and very human counsellor. I'm interested in the whole of you, including the parts that may have been buried, feel out of reach, or that you feel ashamed of.
I work in a non-directive way, so we go at your pace and check in regularly about your goals and how the therapy is going.
I work psychodynamically, which means we look at what’s happening for you now, the struggles and distress you’re living with, as well as what may be sitting behind them. Sometimes, patterns that once helped us cope can begin to leave us feeling stuck. Understanding these patterns can open up space for new ways of relating to yourself and others.
The first step
The relationship between us matters enormously, and it's important that you feel comfortable with me. I offer a free 15 minute introductory call so we can meet and see whether working together feels right.
You don't need to know exactly what to say or where to begin. If something here resonates with you, you're welcome to call, email or text me. I'd be glad to hear from you.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
