About me
MY APPROACH
As an integrative counsellor and psychotherapist, I work with individuals and couples utilising multiple therapeutic approaches such as Humanistic, Psychodynamic, Transpersonal, Body Orientated, Gestalt, Existential and EMDR tailoring the therapeutic process to your individual needs.
SEEKING HELP AND SUPPORT
Traumatic events and adverse situations in life can leave us with feelings of despair, pain, loneliness, shame, guilt, loss, dissatisfaction and many other feelings that move us away from our true selves, inner gifts and potentialities.
At other times life seems to be going fairly stable but somehow we still feel stuck, unable to move forward and we simply cannot find the reasons why.
Looking for help and support can be a daunting experience. You will be seen, listened to and emotionally held in a safe, confidential and non-judgmental environment.
THE INITIAL SESSION
I am aware that taking the step towards booking the first session is not always an easy one.
This initial assessment is an opportunity for us to meet each other in person or online and explore some of the reasons why you are coming to therapy, your desired goals and how we will work together to support you on this journey.
WHY THERAPY HELPS?
Allowing ourselves to express pain, vulnerability, anger, needs and desires freely, enables our bodies, mind and soul to detox from old patterns that no longer serve us and gives space for new and healthy patterns to emerge.
We will work together by exploring the obstacles and issues that are impeding you from having a more authentic , happier and fulfilling life.
Training, qualifications & experience
I have trained as an Integrative Counsellor and Psychotherapist at the Centre for Counselling and Psychotherapy Education in London. Prior to becoming a qualified psychotherapist I worked for several years years in the advertising/creative industry. This experience working in an often high pressure environment has let me to develop a particular interest in boundaries and the need to develop a holistic balance between professional and personal lives.
As a multi ethnic foreign living in the UK for several years I have personally experienced feelings of otherness, prejudice and the need to belong. These experiences have enabled me to deepen my therapeutic skills working with clients from different countries, gender, cultures, different socioeconomic backgrounds, ethnic and religious groups.
AREAS OF INTEREST
I have been working with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience:
- Anxiety
- Depression
- Trauma
- Relationship and couple dynamics
- LGBTQI issues
- Cultural and racial issues
- Bereavement
- Addiction
- Sexual and gender, sex and relationship diversity issues
- Identity issues
Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.
As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.
UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
