About me
Life can feel overwhelming when you're carrying difficult thoughts, emotions, or experiences that seem impossible to share. If you're struggling with anxiety, navigating past trauma, or simply feeling stuck, you deserve a space where you can be yourself without judgment.
I'm a qualified counsellor who specialises in creating warm, confidential environments where healing can begin. Since 2019, I've supported people from all backgrounds, with particular experience working alongside racially minoritised communities, because I believe every person's story deserves to be heard and everyone should have the opportunity to be supported.
How I Work
I practice person-centred therapy, which means you, as the client, lead the way. Our sessions are shaped around your needs, pace, and goals. You'll find a space where you're truly listened to, gently challenged when helpful, and always supported. My approach helps you gain clarity, recognise patterns and develop deeper self-awareness.
I offer flexible online sessions via Zoom or Teams, as well as telephone appointments to fit your comfort and schedule.
I Can Help With:
Anxiety and stress
Depression and low mood
Trauma and past experiences
Low self-esteem and confidence
Relationship difficulties
Bereavement and loss
Identity and cultural issues
Anger management
Work-related stress and redundancy
Women's issues and sexual identity
And much more
What to Expect
Your first session is an assessment where we'll get to know each other. I'll ask about your therapy experience and background, nothing too invasive, and you're always free to skip questions you're uncomfortable with. This helps us understand if we're a good fit and how we can work together effectively.
Ready to Take the Next Step?
I offer a free 30-minute consultation call with no obligation. This is your chance to ask questions, share what you're looking for, and see if we're a good fit. [Email me here] to arrange your consultation.
You don't have to navigate this alone.
Training, qualifications & experience
I received my Post Graduate Diploma in Psychotherapy and Counselling from the University of East London in 2020.
I also have a PhD - Management Studies, an MSc in Organisational Psychology and BSc in Psychology.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
