About me
Welcome. If you are here, something in you may be asking for attention, a feeling, an uncertainty, a question that won’t go away. Therapy offers a place to listen to that voice with care and depth.
I’m Giovanni Felice Pace, a Chartered Counselling Psychologist and Depth Psychotherapist. I believe that the therapeutic relationship is the primary vessel for real change, a space where transformation can unfold safely and authentically.
We work together toward your aims, no matter how distant or uncertain they may feel right now. The process is collaborative and reflective; I regularly invite dialogue about how the work feels, so that the relationship itself becomes part of the healing.
I offer psychotherapy for individuals and couples from diverse backgrounds and identities, and I am fluent in English and Italian. My work is grounded in Analytical Psychology and Relational Transactional Analysis, integrating both symbolic depth and relational awareness.
Areas of Focus
- Feelings of hopelessness, disconnection, or being stuck#
- Identity in its many dimensions – racial, sexual, gender, and neurodivergent experience
- Trauma, fragmentation, panic, and loss
- Dreams and the language of the unconscious
- Sexuality and relational intimacy
- Eating disorders as expressions of relational and embodied struggle
- Psychotic experiences and altered states of mind
- Making sense of what happens or what has happened
I work within the ethical frameworks of the HCPC and UKCP, and hold full professional indemnity insurance.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am an Italian integrative Chartered Counselling Psychologist and Psychotherapist (HCPC and BPS accredited, UKCP Accredited). I am a Transactional Analyst Psychotherapist (CTA) and a Provisional Training and Supervising Transactional Analyst (PTSTA).
With over a decade of experience in mental health and social care, I have worked across both public and private settings, supporting people through complex and long-term psychological difficulties.
My professional background includes extensive experience with Autism, Psychosis, and Eating Disorders, first as a Psychologist, then as a Psychotherapist. These experiences have taught me that no pain is beyond attention, and no story beyond meaning.
Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
British Psychological Society
The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.
As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.
UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
