About me
About Me
'We delight in the beauty of the butterfly, but rarely admit the changes it has gone through to achieve that beauty (Maya Angelou)'
I am here to help you calm your mind by reducing worrying, overthinking and anxiety.
I have wrestled with big questions through my existential and unconventional lens, too. The world's truths can weigh heavy on the shoulders. My door is open, whether you're a deep thinker, a truth-seeker or navigating life's complexities.
I have a passion for helping people navigate the challenges of anxiety, especially high functioning anxiety. My work focuses on understanding anxiety not just as a mental experience, but as a deeply physical one - how it shows up in your racing heart, tight chest or restless thoughts. With my special interest in the mind-body connection, we will explore how your body responds to stress and fear that can feel overwhelming.
In sessions, you will start to understand your own thinking patterns and learn techniques that can support your wellbeing by managing the feelings of anxiety, panic attacks, addictions and patterns of co-dependency.
Co-dependency can occur when you rely too much on someone else to feel good about yourself or to manage your life. You might end up doing things for them even when it hurts you. I will guide you to see your own value - how amazing you truly are. We can work on finding ways for you to nurture yourself, so you can feel stronger and more steady in your own life.
Also, having a special interest in relationships, I can help you navigate the dating world, which might seem scary, especially after experiencing painful breakups, broken marriages, or betrayals. Together, we can identify and address your insecurities and negative self-beliefs that may affect your dating life. I will support you in building your confidence, rebuilding trust and improving your communication skills.
If you are in a relationship and find yourself struggling with conflicts, feelings of rejection, or growing emotional distance, we can explore these challenges together to rebuild a stronger and healthier connection.
In a safe and confidential counselling space where you're not judged, your authentic self will learn how to build healthier relationships. This will help you feel happier and more satisfied in life. You'll also be able to find answers to uncertainty and guilt.
If you are seeking deeper exploration in non-verbal way, I can offer the powerful creative methods, such as sand tray or drawing, to explore emotions and experiences through symbolic expression.
Use counselling as a tool to create your art of living
As an Integrative existential mental health counsellor, my emphasis is on care, kindness, warmth and empathy. I meet you where you truly are and tailor therapy to best fit your needs and goals.
Vulnerability and emotion are natural parts of the human experience.
You are not alone when you feel that anxiety and fear are in control. Remember, your mind is your tool to achieve contentment, joy and inner peace.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
