About me

Stop performing. Start connecting

I help high-achieving individuals and couples step out of exhausting perfectionism, constant second-guessing and relationship anxiety to find deep, real connection and emotional safety.

Together, we will establish the boundaries necessary for your wellbeing, quiet the harsh inner critic and get back to feeling like you again instead of letting anxiety run the show.

How to start:

I offer a free 15-minute online consultation to hold space for your questions. Book your introductory video call or your initial session via my website.

My specialism areas:

  • Relationship Anxiety, including high-functioning anxiety

You know that anxiety isn’t just in your head. It’s a heavy knot in your stomach and a wired tension that makes it impossible to relax. When you're carrying old grief or instability from the past, relationships can feel like a stage where you’re constantly managing your partner's moods just to keep the peace.

I am here to sit right beside you in that heavy mess, quiet that loud inner self-doubt and help you step out of the need for control, sleepless nights and the fear of rejection so you can experience a love that feels safe.

  • Adult Children of Alcoholics (ACoA)

Growing up in an unpredictable environment meant learning to read the room before you even walked through the door.

Those early childhood habits show up loud and clear as relationship anxiety today, leaving you caught in a constant loop of needing reassurance or terrified that you're somehow 'too much' or 'not enough'.

We’ll work together to understand those old patterns, helping you finally get back your own voice so you can feel secure in your connections.

  • Couples Therapy

When the space between you feels heavy with silence, sharp words or the ache of what's unsaid, it can be hard to remember the ease you once shared.

My couples work isn't about looking for a quick fix. True relational change requires going beneath the surface and taking individual accountability.

Together, we step into the active, intentional work of understanding what is driving the distance between you. This is an investment in real growth and honest conversations that finally bring you home to each other.

Your life and your relationships are meant for more than anxiety and distance.

If you are looking for a deeper way to explore, I offer creative methods, such as sand tray or drawing, to process emotions through symbolic expression.

Before training as a therapist, I spent a decade in clinical healthcare, working with minor surgeries and medical sedation. This environment taught me how to stay steady, calm and grounded when people are feeling vulnerable, terrified and overwhelmed. Today, I bring my steadiness and deep empathy into my private practice. My motto is simple: find safety in love. If you want to get a feel for me and how I think, you can explore my reflections on relationships and feelings on my website blog page.

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Over the last few years, I’ve had the privilege of sitting with over 1,000 clients in my therapy room. Every single hour has taught me something new about the incredible resilience of the human heart. That experience is the foundation of how I work: professionally grounded but more importantly with the warmth and human connection that makes true healing possible.
