About me
About Me
'We delight in the beauty of the butterfly, but rarely admit the changes it has gone through to achieve that beauty' (Maya Angelou)
Are you struggling for a meaning of life?
Do you feel different?
Lost and Fearful?
Are you a Highly Sensitive Person (HSP)?
I am here to help you calm your mind by reducing worrying and overthinking and helping you to find a better life balance. Within the safe, confidential and non-judgemental space of the therapy room, your authentic self will learn how to create healthier relationships which in turn will bring about greater fulfilment.
You will start to understand your own thinking patterns and learn techniques that can support your wellbeing by helping you to manage your anxiety, addictions and panic attacks. I will guide you in learning the skills to listen to your body and connect it with your mind so you can manage life transitions easier.
As an Integrative mental health counsellor and a highly sensitive person myself, my emphasis is on care, kindness, warmth and empathy. I tailor the therapy to best fit your needs and meet you where you truly are.
Life is full of challenges. There may be days where you feel lost, where you fear that you cannot really be yourself or show people who you are. Perhaps you find it difficult to open up to people because of fear of judgement. You start collecting thoughts, memories and feelings and storing them in the mind and the body. This is when Anxiety, Depression, Low Self-Esteem, Overthinking, Addiction and Panic Attacks may creep in and become your companions.
You are not alone when you feel that anxiety and fear are in control.
I also have a special interest in the existential and spiritual approach, believing that our mind is our tool to achieve self-actualisation, joy and inner peace.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
