About me
I help individuals and couples move from a place of constant “alert” back into deep connection and calm.
Together, we will establish the boundaries necessary for your wellbeing, quiet the internal critic that holds back your voice and rediscover the core self that exists beneath your anxiety.
How to start:
I offer a complimentary 15-minute online consultation to hold space for your questions. There is no pressure - this is simply an opportunity to talk through what’s on your mind and see if we feel like a comfortable match.

My specialism areas:
- Relationship Anxiety, including high-functioning anxiety
You know that anxiety isn't just "in your head." You feel it in the stomach-sinking worry and that nervous tension that makes it hard to focus. Inside, there is the silent weight of past grief, the unpredictability you once lived with, the sting of broken relationships or a profound sense of loss that others don’t see.
When you live with this history, your relationships often become another area where you feel the pressure to 'perform'. You might habitually prioritise your partner's emotional state over your own to ensure things stay calm. You may interpret small shifts in your partner's mood or communication as a sign that 'things are falling apart', leading to a constant internal scan for potential conflict.
I help you move from 'coping' to actually exhaling - transforming that constant mental noise and the cycle of attachment-based dependency into the grounded calm.
- Adult Children of Alcoholics (ACoA)
Growing up in an unpredictable environment meant learning to read the room before you even walked into it. You became an expert at anticipating others' needs while burying your own. These early patterns often show up as relationship anxiety - the constant need for reassurance or the fear of being 'too much.'
We’ll work together to understand those old survival patterns, moving you from 'managing' everyone else's emotions to finally reclaiming your own voice and feeling secure in your connections.
- Couples Therapy
When the space between you feels heavy with silence, sharp words, or the ache of what's unsaid, it can be hard to remember the ease you once shared.
I work with couples integratively, there is no "winner" in the story - just two people, equally heard, equally held. We will break the cycles that keep you stuck - the protest, the shutdown and the reach that goes unanswered. Together, we'll turn these behaviours into softer, braver conversations that finally land.
Your life and your relationships are meant for more than anxiety and distance.

If you are looking for a deeper way to explore, I offer creative methods, such as sand tray or drawing, to process emotions through symbolic expression.

Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Over the last few years, I’ve had the privilege of sitting with over 1,000 clients in my therapy room. Every single hour has taught me something new about the incredible resilience of the human heart. That experience is the foundation of how I work: professionally grounded but more importantly with the warmth and human connection that makes true healing possible.
