About me
I'm an experienced integrative psychotherapist and counsellor working with both Individuals and Couples in my dedicated therapy space close to Peckham Rye (se22). As an integrative therapist I am skilled in different theoretical approaches (humanistic, psychodynamic and cognitive behavioural) which I draw on according to what works best for you and your own thoughts and feelings about what you want to change, and who you want to be.
My approach is humanistic, and relational, which means I recognise your innate potential to be the best version of yourself, and I believe in the power of human relationships to help you realise your potential. My practice is also informed by psychodynamic psychotherapy, keenly aware of the role the past has played on the present, how your early life experiences have shaped your personality and how you relate to yourself and others in your life today.
Therapy is an opportunity to free yourself from your past and find out who you really are, instead of who you think you are supposed to be. We will work together to uncover the causes of your difficulties and develop new ways of being, to help you live with more authenticity, compassion, and confidence. Therapy isn't just a set of techniques, or coping strategies, but a philosophy of life; healing comes from self-acceptance and embracing the here and now, fully committing to the truth of your experience.
My approach to couples and relationship work draws on a variety of therapeutic models including psychodynamic and gestalt as well the philosophy of relational mindfulness. In practise this means reflecting on the relationship and attachment history and looking at how this has shaped the repeating patterns of behaviour and communication at home and also in the therapy room. Discovering and integrating your whole authentic self is the pathway to improving and deepening your relationship with yourself as well as your partner.
For relationship and couples therapy, I can work with a number of issues including:
Repeating patterns of Conflict
Emotional Distance
Infidelity / Post-betrayal Recovery
Pursuit-Withdrawal Cycles
Clashing Values or Parenting Styles
Lack of Intimacy
Stress / Family / Parenting Issues
Please get in touch with me to arrange an initial session. This is a chance for us to meet and for you to think about whether you might find therapy helpful.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
