About me
Something brought you here - a moment, a worry, a feeling you can't ignore anymore. If you need a moment to pause, I can offer you the space to land.
People often come to me when they’re holding everything together on the outside but quietly struggling on the inside. If that’s you, you’re not alone and you don’t have to keep doing it by yourself.
With the warmest welcome, I'm Georgianne, an experienced integrative psychotherapeutic counsellor, offering a safe and supportive space in the heart of Tring. I work in a psychotherapeutic and neurodiverse-affirming way and hold a special interest in the stories we carry from our past and how they shape the way we relate, cope, and connect today.
Whether you’re navigating burnout, anxiety or depression, childhood emotional neglect, relationship patterns that keep repeating, caring responsibilities, or a sense of 'I should be coping better than this', our work will move at your pace. My role is to help you understand yourself more deeply, make sense of why you feel as you do, and support you to create new ways of relating to yourself, others and the world around you.
Therapy with me isn’t about fixing you, it’s about finding you.
If something in this resonates, you’re welcome to get in touch. I’d be glad to meet you.
Training, qualifications & experience
Both my extensive training and my lived experiences shape the way I work. I understand how complex, painful and confusing life can feel - through trauma, loss, bereavement, pregnancy loss, parenthood, addiction, and family relationships that don’t always meet our needs.
As a parent-carer, I have a deep, personal understanding of neurodiversity, especially ASD, PDA and ADHD, and this forms the foundation of my neurodiversity-affirming approach.
Before private practice, I have worked with charities supporting unpaid carers, helping them navigate the emotional strain, identity shifts, and invisible pressures that caring roles often bring.
Alongside this, I have experience working with individuals who have lived through trauma - including sexual abuse, coercive control, complex family dynamics, low self-esteem, health anxiety and hoarding behaviours.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
