About me

Hello! My name is Georgia and I am a psychologist-psychotherapist specialising in CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy). Starting therapy can feel daunting and so my approach is all about creating a warm, compassionate space where you feel truly heard and understood. I believe you are the expert of your own life, and my role is to walk alongside you, offering support and guidance as we explore what matters most to you. Together, we’ll take things at your pace, working to unlock positive change while ensuring you feel comfortable, supported, and empowered throughout your journey.

As we work together, you’ll gain the skills to face life’s challenges with more confidence and resilience. And when therapy comes to an end, you’ll have everything you need to keep growing and thriving independently.

Therapy is a safe, non-judgmental space where you can truly be yourself. As your therapist, I am here to listen without criticism, offering you a place to explore your feelings openly, helping you find clarity, healing, and ways to move forward with confidence. You can learn more about what therapy will look like by contacting me and arranging a short call, or by booking a first session at a reduced £45 fee without further commitment.

Training, qualifications & experience

I have a background in psychology, counselling, and cognitive behavioural therapy, supported by a strong academic journey from undergraduate to postgraduate studies. I hold a BA in Psychology from Panteion University and an MA in Childhood Studies from the University of Leeds, along with further qualifications in Counselling Skills and CBT from institutions in Glasgow. Through my studies and training, I've developed a solid understanding of human behaviour, developmental psychology, and therapeutic approaches. I'm continually learning how to apply this knowledge in practical, meaningful ways, especially when it comes to supporting mental health and wellbeing across different populations. I’m committed to working ethically, staying informed by evidence-based practice, and continuing to grow both personally and professionally.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited register membership

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
