About me
Hi, my name is Geeta, and I am a South Asian, Integrative Psychotherapist. I am dedicated to providing a supportive and nurturing environment where you can explore your thoughts and feelings.
My approach is centred on empathy, warmth, and understanding, ensuring you feel heard and valued. Whether you are dealing with personal challenges, relationship issues, or simply seeking personal growth, I am here to help. In our sessions, you will find a safe, confidential space where you can express yourself freely. You will be heard, you will be listened to.
Let's talk about what's happening for you, and together, let's work on it.
I specialise in working with young adults (18+) who are struggling with identity issues. Whether you struggle with cultural, racial, sexual issues, or even identity issues regarding who you want to be, we can work on this together.
As I am South Asian, I empathise with issues within the South Asian community, and I urge you to talk about what's happening.
I would love for you to reach out and see if we are a good fit for therapy. Email me, and let's discuss what you would like to bring to therapy, and how I work in order to support you.
I work online via Zoom. Our sessions will be 50 minutes, and will be at the same time every week. I am flexible to reschedule appointments within the day.
Before the first session, I will provide you with two contracts to complete, just so that we are on the same page. In our first session, we will discuss at length what is going on for you, and what you would like to explore, if anything, during our sessions. Maybe you want to discuss family matters or personal issues. Maybe you just want to be heard. Either way, we will discuss this together.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
