Psychotherapist Counsellor & Coach MBACP UKATA EMCC

About me

Welcome. I am an experienced Integrative Psychotherapist, Counsellor and Accredited Therapeutic Coach working with adults, young adults (16+) and couples. I offer in-person and online appointments in North London and Lichfield.

For all of us there are times in our lives when we feel confused, distressed or unable to cope. Talking therapies give you a gentle space to better understand yourself, explore what's been getting in the way, and open up the possibility of making changes. Together, we can look at old patterns and start finding new, more helpful ways to handle whatever you're facing.

I provide short-term counselling, open-ended psychotherapy, therapeutic coaching, couples counselling, and bespoke one-to-one workshops. I understand that everyone’s different, so I shape my approach around you. Whether you’re facing a crisis, looking for change, or just keen to get to know yourself better, I’m here to support you.

If you’d like to take the next step, please get in touch to arrange a free initial 20-minute consultation. This is is an opportunity for us to talk about what’s brought you to consider therapy, and for you to share any hopes or worries you might have. There’s no pressure or obligation – just a chance for us to see if working together feels right for you.

Consultations
Consultations are are available Monday-Saturday with daytime and evening appointments available.

Fees

  • Initial consultation - free
  • Subsequent consultations from £60.00
  • Couples therapy from £80.00
  • Online consultations from £60.00

I have some availability for reduced rates for individual online therapy.   Please contact me for details.

What to Expect at the First Appointment The initial consultation gives us the opportunity to explore the issues you wish to bring to counselling, what you hope to gain from it and for me to answer any questions you may have. It also allows me to explain a little bit more about how I work, the models I use, the process of therapy and my recommendations for our work together. There is certainly no obligation to continue beyond this initial appointment.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
