Psychotherapist Counsellor & Coach MBACP UKATA EMCC

About me

Welcome.     I’m an experienced Integrative Psychotherapist, Counsellor,  Therapeutic Coach and Supervisor, offering a warm, supportive space where you can explore life’s challenges and discover new directions. My approach is flexible and collaborative, drawing from a range of therapeutic models so we can tailor our work to suit your unique needs.

I understand that everyone’s journey is different and after a decade working in private practice, I’ve had the privilege of supporting a wide range of people from all walks of life. Over this time, I’ve helped individuals recognise patterns, build on their strengths, and develop practical tools for lasting change. I believe meaningful progress starts with self-understanding, approached gently and without judgement. With genuine support and a listening ear, it’s possible to create space for growth, resilience, and improved wellbeing.

Therapy isn’t one-size-fits-all. I use a variety of evidence-based approaches, including established therapeutic frameworks as well as supportive practices like breathwork and mindfulness. These methods can deepen self-awareness and offer help in managing emotions day-to-day. My areas of expertise include, but are not limited to,  stress, anxiety, trauma, attachment and relationship difficulties, fertility challenges, depression, low self-esteem, confidence, work-related dilemmas, burnout and life transitions.   I also welcome those who may not have a particular issue, but simply want to know themselves better or find more meaning and fulfilment in life.

You don’t need to have identified a problem to benefit from therapy. Many people come simply to understand themselves, make sense of feeling stuck, or reflect on their choices in a safe and confidential space. Whether you’d like support in identifying your options, understanding your decisions, or just want time to reflect, I’m here to help—wherever you are on your journey.

Initial Session: If you’re curious about therapy or wondering which approach might suit you, I offer a free 20-minute introductory session. This is a relaxed opportunity to talk about what’s on your mind, explore different therapeutic options, and consider what might work best for you. If you’d like to continue, we can discuss next steps or available packages together.

Appointments are available Monday to Saturday, with both daytime and evening slots. I know that cost can be a barrier, so I offer reduced fees on a sliding scale and low-cost introductory packages to make therapy accessible to all. Please get in touch for more details.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
