About me
If you're struggling, it's never too late to seek help: although a very common part of NEEDING help, is one's brain whispering, 'it's too late,' or, 'just keep sitting tight for another year/month/decade - there's a slight chance this will get better of its own accord...'
This is particularly true if you're neurodiverse (ADHD, AuDHD, Autism, Tourettes etc), or suspect you might be.
As a psychotherapist and supervisor with ADHD (and a leader in the field of mental distress within the NHS, local authorities and the voluntary sector) I know from personal and professional experience how stuck things can feel, and I love supporting people (and supervising the practitioners who support them), to find your way through the sinking mud of stuckness, to your unique place in the world.
It's not too late, and a better world is out there. It will truly be a pleasure to walk with you on this journey.
Training, qualifications & experience
I've been a mental health practitioner for over 20 years, and clinical lead for more than ten years, in the public sector and voluntary sector, including the NHS. I also share tiny pops of tools, techniques and training on my instagram and you tube channel, which help make wellbeing easier, and our world kinder and fairer.
My qualifications include:
- Masters in Psychotherapy (Existential)
- CBT Post Graduate Certificate
- Family and Individual Mentalisation Based Therapy
- Advanced Compassion Focused Therapy
- Chairwork
- DBT
- EMDR

Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.
As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.
UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
