About us
If you are looking at counselling, you have already taken an important first step towards seeking support. I understand that beginning therapy can feel daunting, and finding the right therapist and approach for you is incredibly important.
I offer a warm, confidential and non-judgemental space where you can feel safe to explore your thoughts, feelings and experiences at your own pace. My approach is rooted in the humanistic, person-centred principles of Carl Rogers, while my experience and training allow me to work flexibly and, where appropriate, more proactively and therapeutically.
Together, we can explore what is happening for you in the present, how your past experiences may have shaped you, and what you would like for your future. You do not need to have everything worked out before coming to counselling. Sometimes simply having someone genuinely listen and help you make sense of what you are experiencing can be the beginning of meaningful change.
I believe that finding the right therapist is essential. During our first session, we can talk about what has brought you to counselling, what you would like support with, and whether you feel comfortable working with me. I will always encourage you to consider whether counselling with me feels right for you. Your therapy is about you, and it is important that you feel heard, respected and supported throughout the process.
I am now based in Eton, Windsor, offering professional counselling from my practice in Sun Close. I also offer online and telephone counselling, giving you the flexibility to choose the way of working that feels most comfortable for you.

Member organisations *
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Other areas of counselling we deal with
I believe that one of the most important foundations of successful counselling is the relationship we build together. Feeling able to be honest and open, without fear of judgement, can allow us to explore the things that may be difficult to say elsewhere. I place great importance on creating a relationship built on trust, respect, acceptance and authenticity. I will listen carefully and, when appropriate, gently challenge or reflect on what I hear, always with your wellbeing and individual needs in mind. Counselling is a collaborative process, and I believe that being able to talk honestly about what is and isn’t working for you is just as important as being honest about the difficulties that have brought you to therapy. My aim is to create a relationship where you feel safe enough to be yourself and where, together, we can work towards meaningful and lasting change.
