About me

I am a fully qualified and registered Psychotherapist who has experience in assisting individuals with anxiety, depression, lgbtq+ related issues, relationship issues, family conflicts, trauma, abuse, end of life fears & also grief to name a few.

Before becoming qualified as a Psychotherapist I supported adults and teens with Autism and ADHD as a support worker, where I recognised a distinct lack of specialised therapeutic support in these areas which ultimately led to me pursuing my degree, as well as being neurodivergent myself and recognising a lack for understanding how autism and adhd can impact individuals differently both in suspected diagnosis and post diagnosis.

I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I will always ensure to tailor our sessions and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.

I know that reaching out can be a big- and sometimes scary- step. So I'm proud of you already!

Concessionary rates (students, in receipt of benefits, keyworkers) £40.00 per therapy hour. Normal rates £50.00 per therapy hour, couples sessions are £70.00 per therapy hour.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am a strong professional who has completed my Masters in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy, and I am passionate about helping people to realise that the answers they seek are quite often within and that I'm here to stand beside them while they pull out their map to help guide them from time to time. I use Integrative therapy practices, providing Person-centred, Psychodynamic and CBT techniques (to name a few) where applicable to help guide my clients through the life experiences they've come to me with.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited register membership

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
