About me
Are you aware something in your life isn’t working for you, but you can’t seem to pinpoint what it is?
Or maybe you have patterns or habits that are no longer serving you but you can’t seem to break free, no matter what you do?
If you’re seeking change in your life and looking for compassionate support through the process, I’m here to help.
About Me
I’m an Integrative Humanistic Therapist based in Canterbury, Kent. I have supported clients experiencing:
- anxiety and/or depression
- substance misuse
- addiction
- childhood trauma
- relationship breakdown/separation
- social anxiety
- phobias
- eating issues
- emotional dysregulation
- work-related stress/burnout
Here are two things I believe about therapy & inform my work:
(1) The success of therapy is rooted in the quality of the relationship between therapist and client. I offer a warm, empathetic, and nurturing environment where you can grow at your own pace. In our work together, I see us as ‘fellow travellers’ - each bringing our own knowledge and experience to the space we create. Together, we can uncover a way forward that feels right for you.
(2) There is no “one size fits all” approach - so I work with flexibility. Some people come to counselling wanting to work on a specific issue in a short period of time, others want to use the space to explore themselves and their experiences in a much deeper way. Both are valid uses of therapy and together we will figure out what works well for you. We can use a variety of theories and techniques depending on your needs.
My Approach
- Collaborative & Relational: We work together as equals, building a trusting partnership.
- Deep Self-Awareness: We’ll explore your thoughts, feelings, sensations, behaviours, & patterns to foster meaningful change.
- Experimentation & Growth: I encourage gentle experimentation, empowering you to make the changes you want to see in your life.

Training, qualifications & experience
Experience:
Supporting Young Adults (Ages 18-25)
I love working with young adults and have specific training and experience working with people aged 18-25 who have faced challenges accessing support for their mental health and wellbeing. Lots of the people I have supported have had poor care from services previously and are wary of reaching out for support again. This is something we can work through.
I also recognise that the traditional model of two people sitting face-to-face and talking through issues isn’t always effective or comfortable for everyone. That’s why I offer a flexible, creative approach, using a variety of tools and techniques tailored to each individual.
