About me
My name is Emma and I enjoy running, walking and being in nature. I am a spiritual enthusiast who is enthusiastic about meditation, reiki and self-care.
I am passionate about providing a safe and non-judgemental space for individuals to explore their emotions and find healing. As an integrative holistic therapist, I believe that not one type of therapy fits all, therefore bringing in techniques from different modalities of therapy such as CBT, person centred, psychodynamic, gestalt, solution focused, and expressive therapy. My approach blends evidence-based techniques with a compassionate understanding of each client’s unique journey. I am able to work with clients on a range of issues including anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, work issues, relationship issues, health issues, stress, emotional abuse, bereavement, trauma, self-harm, and many more.
It can be a daunting experience deciding to take the step into counselling, therefore I aim to make the counselling space as comfortable as possible. As a therapist, I provide a safe and confidential space where clients can open up and together, we can explore the difficult feelings and emotions that may arise. I will walk alongside you with any issues that you are carrying, and together we will find the best solution that is right for you. I believe everyone has their own answers and I will help you find yours.
I offer in-person, telephone, and online therapy, as well as walk and talk, sessions that last for 1 hour. To help you decide if I am the right counsellor for you, I offer a free no-obligation 30-minute initial session, which can be in person or online. If you would like any further information or an informal chat, I would be happy to help.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
