About me
Relational and creative counselling for adults, children, young people, couples, and neurodivergent clients in Potton and surrounding areas.
I believe therapy should feel as unique as the person seeking support. At the heart of my work is creating a safe, trusting relationship where you feel genuinely heard, understood, and accepted without judgement.
I offer a calm, grounded, and compassionate space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences at a pace that feels right for you. Whether you are an adult feeling emotionally overwhelmed, a couple struggling to reconnect, a parent concerned about your child, or a young person finding life difficult to navigate, you will be met with warmth, empathy, and authenticity.
I work with adults, children (aged 4+), young people, couples, and parents experiencing:
Anxiety and panic
Emotional overwhelm and low mood
ADHD and neurodiversity
Trauma, PTSD, and CPTSD
Emotional regulation difficulties
Relationship and family challenges
Low self-esteem and confidence
Stress, burnout, and life transitions
Grief and loss
Parenting support
My practice is based in the peaceful rural setting of Potton, supporting clients from Potton, Sandy, Biggleswade, Gamlingay, St Neots, Bedfordshire, and surrounding areas.
My Approach
I see therapy as a collaborative process built on safety, trust, and authentic human connection. Healing often happens when we feel safe enough to be fully ourselves within a supportive relationship.
I understand that expressing emotions verbally is not always easy. For some people, feelings can feel overwhelming, confusing, or difficult to put into words. Others may experience the world in a more sensory, emotional, or neurodivergent way.
Because of this, I offer more than traditional talking therapy. Alongside relational counselling, I integrate creative, symbolic, sensory, and somatic approaches that can help explore experiences more gently and naturally.
Therapy may include:
Creative arts and crafts
Sand tray exploration
Play and storytelling
Nature-based therapy
Sensory and tactile resources
Body awareness and somatic techniques
These approaches can support emotional expression, regulation, self-awareness, and healing when words alone may not feel enough.
My integrative approach is flexible and responsive to your individual needs, creating a therapeutic space that feels safe, supportive, and empowering.
I believe meaningful change happens through connection, acceptance, and feeling truly seen by another person. When we feel heard without judgement, healing can begin.
If you feel we may be a good fit, you are very welcome to get in touch. I would be honoured to walk alongside you
Training, qualifications & experience
I have over 20 years supporting children, young people, and families, and it’s a role I feel deeply passionate about. My journey has taken me through many settings, from working with Looked After Children (LAC) and offering parent support through Barnardo’s, to supporting pupils in SEMH schools and mainstream education.
As a counsellor, I’ve worked closely with charities, agencies, schools and in private practice, building strong relationships and gaining a deep understanding of the challenges children and families face. This experience has shaped my gentle, responsive approach and helps me meet each person where they are, with empathy, creativity, and care.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information
I understand that reaching out for support can feel daunting, especially if you're unsure what to expect. My aim is to make the process as gentle, welcoming, and reassuring as possible.
I work from my home in Potton, where I’ve created a dedicated space that’s quiet, private, and thoughtfully set up to support reflection and emotional safety. It’s nestled in a peaceful country setting, surrounded by private gardens, offering the option to work outdoors if that feels more comfortable for you. Nature can be a powerful part of the healing process, and I’m happy to incorporate it into our sessions when it feels right.
I provide all the resources that may be needed during our time together, whether that’s creative materials, sensory tools, or simply a calm space to talk. I’ll always be guided by what suits you best, adapting to your needs and preferences with care and flexibility.
Please feel free to get in touch if you’d like to ask any questions or explore whether we might be a good fit. I’d be honoured to hear from you.
