About me
Hello 👋 and welcome to my profile. I am a person centred/experiential counsellor and I work with a diverse range of clients aged 16+. Areas I specialise in include identity and sense of self as well as low self esteem, confidence, self belief and self worth, chronic illness, neurodiversity (including ADHD and Autism), and trauma and dissociation. I work with a person centred and experiential foundation and will bring in elements of Internal Family Systems model into my practice as well as some other different modalities depending on what might be helpful to you including but not restricted to Creative therapy, Transaction Analysis and CBT (cognitive behavioural therapy).
I work from a cosy and calm garden room at my home address in Lymington which offers a quiet confidential space for us both to sit together and explore your internal world. I am offering to come along side you to support you as you venture into exploring of your thoughts, emotions and bodily sensations at your pace and in your own time. I am not here to push you into feeling things too deeply or quickly, though I may gently challenge or hold focus on an area briefly to see if you wish to explore it further, which is completely your choice during your session with me.
I offer in person sessions in my garden room (there is parking on the drive way and a small walk to the room through the garden) alternatively, if you prefer to be at home, I offer online therapy which means you can reserve your energy and not think about having to travel, parking or walking and any accessibility issues. Instead, you can make a nice cup of tea or coffee and get comfy in your favourite spot at home and meet me on zoom for our session together.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
