About me
I’m a pluralistic/psychotherapeutic counsellor, therapeutic coach, hypnotherapist & mental health nurse based in Braintree, Essex, UK working in person & online.
Combining clinical as well as my life experience with a flexible, client-led approach to help navigate those with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, life transitions, stress and more. My practice is grounded in compassion, non-judgement, practical skills, committing to meeting each person where they are.
I work pluralistically, drawing on evidence-based therapies, tailoring them to your needs & pace whilst blending therapeutic coaching.
My mental health nursing background brings strengths in risk assessment, crisis management, collaboration, prioritising safety, respect, confidentiality & clear boundaries while encouraging autonomy & resilience. I specialise in low mood, anxiety, chronic illness, grief, life transitions and more. I love bringing in techniques such as hypnotherapy and tapping.
You can expect therapy with a ‘normal’ person who has navigated many life events and experiences that have built me into the professional I am today.
Sessions are collaborative and structured around your goals. I offer long or short term counselling/coaching packages depending on need.
Together we’ll create a clear plan, track progress and make adjustments if needed.
Feel free to book a free intro call to learn more about me, you can tell me more about your issue and you can gauge if I am the right person for you
