About me
As an integrative therapist, I offer a space where you can bring your whole self your worries, hopes, questions, and emotions and know they’ll be met with empathy and acceptance. My work centres on building a safe therapeutic relationship that supports you in exploring your inner world, understanding your experiences, and finding clarity and self‑trust as you move forward.
People often come to me when they’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected, or wanting to understand themselves more deeply. Whether you’re navigating life changes, emotional difficulties or simply seeking a space to reflect, we can explore what you need together.
Training, qualifications & experience
I hold a BSc in Psychology and an MSc in Counselling, and I’m an MBACP‑registered therapist. My practice is rooted in a trauma‑informed, person‑centred approach, offering a safe and steady space to explore thoughts, feelings and life experiences at your own pace.
I’m trained to work with both adults and children, and my professional background includes extensive experience supporting children and young people with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs.
I have a particular interest in ecotherapy. My master’s thesis explored eco‑emotions and the ways our relationship with the natural world can support emotional wellbeing. I am a trained walk-and-talk therapist for those who feel drawn to it, this can be an alternative to online sessions. If this is something you’d like to explore, you’re welcome to get in touch for more details ensuring safety and comfort outdoors is always a priority.
I further offer email‑based therapy for those who prefer to express themselves through writing or who want a more flexible way of accessing support. Please feel free to contact me for more information.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
